The Oppo Reno 8 series will soon be introduced in China, within which a model with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip will appear and it is likely that it will debut on the market with a new platform. Judging by the specs the Oppo Reno 8 Lite will get, the company will resort to rebranding the OnePlus Nord N20, Oppo Reno 7 Lite or Oppo Reno 7Z. The source indicates the presence of a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with FullHD + resolution (2400×1080 pixels), a Snapdragon 695 5G chipset with a peak frequency of 2.2 GHz, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory.

The Oppo Reno 8 Lite will have a 16-megapixel front module, a 4500 mAh battery with 33-watt charging; and a triple rear camera of 64 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP. They promise support for NFC, two SIM cards and Bluetooth 5.1. The device will be running the Android 11 operating system with the ColorOS add-on. It remains an open question when the premiere of Oppo Reno 8 Lite will take place; and how much they can ask for it.

Internet sources have released information about the characteristics of the OPPO Reno 8 smartphone. There are reports that the official presentation of this device will take place before the end of June.
OPPO Reno 8 will replace the devices of the OPPO Reno 7 family. The smartphone may be the world’s first smartphone with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor.
According to reports, the device has a 6.55-inch Full HD + OLED display; with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The front camera will be located in a small hole in the screen: its resolution will be 32 megapixels. A fingerprint scanner will be available under the display area.
The smartphone will receive a triple rear camera: this is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main unit, an 8-megapixel module with wide-angle optics and a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography and (or) collecting information about the depth of the scene.
The equipment will include a 4500 mAh battery with support for 80 W fast charging. We are talking about the use of LPDDR5 RAM and a UFS 3.1 flash drive. The smartphone will ship with ColorOS 12 operating system based on Android 12.
