Xiaomi 12S Ultra

Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, cancelled the Xiaomi 12 Ultra and released the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. Today, popular Twitter tech blogger, @UniverseIce reveals that many flagships will use the four-bezel equal-width technology of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. One of the flagships that he confirmed will use this technology is the Xiaomi 13 series. This means that the Xiaomi 13 series will be the first Xiaomi smartphone to use this technology. The first 5G flagship with a four-side equal-width design.

At present, the flagship of the Android camp generally adopts an ultra-narrow frame design with ultra-narrow left and right sides. Furthermore, the chin is slightly wider than the left and right borders.

An industry insider, Zhu Haizhou, once pointed out that manufacturers do not want to make the four sides of the iPhone’s thick frame as wide as possible but want to increase the screen ratio as much as possible. However, the design of the ultra-narrow four sides is more difficult and requires higher tech.

Xiaomi 13 may arrive early

Considering the latest information from @UniverseIce, it seems that next year’s high-end flagships, including Xiaomi 13, will be made into a “narrow and four-side” design. While increasing the screen ratio, the visual effect will likely surpass that of the iPhone. According to the information, the Xiaomi 13 series will debut in November.

If Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 arrives in November, then the Xiaomi 13 series may launch ahead of schedule. Popular Weibo tech blogger @DCS claims that the Xiaomi 13 series is progressing very quickly. Thus, the series will probably launch ahead of schedule. However, while we look forward to the arrival of the Xiaomi 13 series, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will launch in the coming weeks.
