Oppo is gearing up to introduce a new smartphone carrying the Oppo K10 Energy moniker. Just like with the Oppo K9 series, the K10 is getting an extensive list of variants throughout the year. The new variant dubbed “Energy” will join the existing models. Interestingly, the device does not seems to be going through the conventional online distribution. Instead, Oppo will stick with an offline distribution where users in China will find the device through Oppo Stores and key offline retailers. Today, some new information has emerged with more details about the device.
Oppo K10 Energy specifications
The Oppo K10 Energy will carry the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. The device will come with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage. These numbers are very interesting, especially when we take in mind this is not a flagship phone. The device also has a 5,000 mAh battery with 30 W fast-charging. Both are acceptable numbers, especially the capacity. There are also details involving the device’s body. It will be 8.5 mm thick and will weigh around 199 grams.
On the front, the Oppo K10 Energy flaunts a 6.59-inch LCD panel. The screen has 2,412 x 1,080 pixels of resolution. The panel also has a 120 Hz of refresh rate and 240 Hz of touch sampling rate. Furthermore, the Oppo K10 Energy flaunts a 16 MP selfie snapper. Going for the rear department, the device has a 64 MP snapper, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 2 MP snapper. The phone will bring an X-axis linear motor, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Oppo K10 Energy seems to be a mix between the Opo K10 5G and the global K10 5G. The device will hit the brick-and-mortar stores for CNY 2,200 ($325/€320/₹26,000). However, it’s not yet available. We expect Oppo to disclose more details in the next few days. For now, there is no word whether or not it will reach global markets.
