Sexual scandals are not also new to Elon Musk as he has been on the news several times for sexual issues. The latest of these is the report that Elon Musk had an affair with the wife of someone that is supposed to be his friend. Mr Musk reportedly had an affair with the wife of Google co-founder, Sergey Brin. However, in a recent turn of events, Elon Musk vehemently denies the claim. The Tesla boss claims that he doesn’t have anything to do with Brin’s wife.
Elon Musk’s tweet is coming after a report from Wall Street Journal (WSJ) claims that Elon Musk and Sergey Brin are no longer friends. The reason for the end of their friendship is not far-fetched. The report claims the friendship ended because Elon Musk had an affair with Nicole Shanahan, Sergey Brin’s wife.

According to Elon Musk, the story is “total bs”. Furthermore, he claims that his friendship with Sergey is still intact. He even claims that they were “at a party together last night!”. Reports from insiders claim that Ms Shanahan and Elon Musk had a little something going on last year. Although the affair was brief, it did happen. Earlier this year, Sergey Brin filed for divorce from his wife of about four years. He also ended all communications and ties with the Tesla Boss. In a recent tweet, Mr Musk said “I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic”.

However, there is another twist to the whole story. According to reports, Sergey Brin and his wife had issues and were living separately in the same house. The alleged relationship between Ms Shanahan and Mr Musk took place in December last year. At this time, Brin and his wife were already living separately in the same house.
In a bid to clear his name, Elon Musk hit Twitter again. This time, he wrote, “WSJ [Wall Street Journal] has run so many bs hit pieces on me and Tesla I’ve lost count.”

At the moment, Mr Brin and Ms Shanahan have a prenuptial agreement. Nevertheless, the couple is currently negotiating a divorce settlement. According to reports, the settlement could be as much as $1 billion (£830 million). Ms Shanahan is a California-based attorney and founder of legal technology company ClearAccessIP and the Bia-Echo Foundation, according to her LinkedIn profile. The Bia-Echo Foundation is a philanthropic organisation that promotes “reproductive longevity & equality, criminal justice reform and a healthy & livable planet”.
Elon Musk’s private life has been in the public domain for quite some time. In late 2021, Elon Musk confirmed that he and Shivon Zilis, an executive at his technology company Neuralink had twins. This is coming after his daughter cut all ties with him. According to Vivian his daughter, she doesn’t want to “be related to her biological father in any way, shape or form”.

Sergey Brin is the eighth richest person in the world with $95 billion worth.
