MIUI 14 Features

Over the past few days, there have been a couple of reports regarding the MIUI 14 system. According to xiaomiui.net, MIUI 14 should launch with the Xiaomi 13 series by the end of the year. MIUI 14 has been spotted in the codebase, and the Xiaomi 13 codename Nuwa will ship with MIUI 14. However, Weibo tech blogger @DCS claims that it is too early for the release of MIUI 14. According to him, the Redmi K50 Ultra that is coming in August will miss the system. This means that the Redmi K50 Ultra will continue to use the MIUI 13 system. However, the UX style of the MIUI 13 beta version is now moving closer to the new version.

Also, Xiaomi previously announced that starting with MIUI based on Android 13, MIUI will focus on two versions. These versions will be the “development version” as well as the “official version”. Among them, the MIUI development version will get weekly updates. However, the official version will get updates according to users’ needs. The development version and the official version will gradually be able to switch without clearing data.
