Huawei HarmonyOS 3 latest batch – MatePad 10.8 inches & more

Since the official launch of Huawei’s latest HarmonyOS 3 update, many Huawei flagships already have this update. At the moment, the first two batches of Huawei smartphones already have this update. However, the company just released the list of the third batch of devices to get this update. The list reveals that the third batch contains mostly Huawei tablets and smartphones in the nova series.

HarmonyOS 3 upgrade list – the third batch

The devices to get the Huawei HarmonyOS 3 in the third batch are

  • Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8-inch
  • Huawei MatePad Pro 5G 10.8-inch
  • Huawei MatePad 10.8-inch
  • Huawei nova 8
  • Huawei nova 8 Pro 4G
  • Huawei nova 8 Pro 5G
  • Huawei nova 9 SE

These devices will receive the HarmonyOS 3 beta and the rollout will commence on October 13th. After the recruitment, the first batch of users will get the update about the middle of October (from the 13th). Huawei will then gradually review the version in batches according to the progress. Subsequently, it will push the version for users that display “approved” on the registration interface. The rollout of this update for the third batch should end at the end of October.

As of today, no less than 30 Huawei devices are already receiving the HarmonyOS 3 update. In addition, the Huawei P40 series, Mate 30 series, etc. will upgrade in the fourth quarter of 2022. The  Huawei P30 series, Mate 20 series, etc. will upgrade in 2023.

Huawei officially released the HarmonyOS 3 system at the Mate 50 series launch event back in September. HarmonyOS supports unique features such as universal cards, smart folders, and more. On HarmonyOS 3, these features will evolve again. Whether combining cards, stacking cards, or supporting more sizes of smart folders, it will bring a more free and efficient experience.
