Honor is prepping to launch a new smartphone dubbed X40 GT later this month. The Shenzhen-based company recently shared a poster on Weibo to hint at an imminent launch of the X40 series in China.
Moreover, Honor hasn’t shied away from giving us a glimpse into the phone’s design ahead of launch. Also, the company has already revealed a few specs of the handset in the form of posters and videos. For instance, we know the Honor X40 GT will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.

Now, the Honor X40 GT smartphone’s launch date in China is set for October 13. The launch event will start at 19: 30 local time, according to a report by Sparrow News.

Interestingly, Honor is gearing up to host a launch event on October 18 in the Philippines. The company will unveil the Honor 70, Honor X6, and Honor Pad 8 at the impending event. Honor revealed the X40 GT launch gate through a teaser poster. The official teaser also suggests the device will feature a large camera ring on the back.
This rear-mounted camera ring will have three sensors and an LED flash. Also, the GT branding will appear on the back. You can pre-order the Honor X40 GT by heading straight to the official Honor China website. Alternatively, you can pre-reserve the handset via Jingdong, Douyin, Douyin, and Tmall.
