Realme 10 series will arrive in November

Today was the day of the Redmi Note 12 series launch in China. Xiaomi stole the attention with compelling specs such as 210W charging and 200 MP ISOCELL HPX cameras. Now, fans in the mid-range segment are waiting for Realme to make its move. After all, these two brands are constantly competing. Realme’s response to the Redmi Note series usually comes through the mid-range numbered series. The brand is preparing to launch the new Realme 10 series in November.

Realme 10 series

The Realme 10 series phones have been leaking in the wild recently.  Now, the company has confirmed that the announcement will happen in November. The Realme 10 series is expected to bring two vanilla variants with 4G and 5G, one Realme 10 Pro, and a Pro+. The brand began its teaser campaign stating that the new generation focuses on three points of “leap-forward technologies”. These are performance, design, and display.

Gizchina News of the week

As per the leaks, the Realme 10 4G brings an OLED screen with an Helio G99 SoC under the hood. An OLED screen is certainly an advance for a budget device. Meanwhile, the 5G variant will have a large 6.7-inch LCD screen. The Pro+ is the most interesting one with a curved OLED display. This is not often seen in mid-range phones. When it comes to performance, we expect the vanilla 5G to sport any of MediaTek’s Dimensity chips below the Dimensity 1080. This one will serve to power the Pro+, and perhaps, the standard Pro variant. Curiously, we’re not hearing much about this Pro variant. So at this time, it’s not possible to confirm the Realme 10 Pro arrival.

The Realme 10 Pro+ will also bring a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 50 MP camera. Unlike Xiaomi, it seems that Realme will not bet on higher megapixels. Anyway, all the phones are rumored to bring OIS which is an advance. The Pro+ will have a large 5,000 mAh battery with 67W fast-charging support. The vanilla phones will retain this capacity but will have 33W fast charging. That is still more than what some premium phones are offering.
