Xiaomi has announced the global launch of its latest user interface MIUI 14. This new version of the software was initially launched in China in December of the previous year.

The MIUI 14 update is expected to bring several optimizations and new features to Xiaomi devices. The company promises that the new software will provide greater fluidity, and more intuitive and flexible experience for users. In terms of optimization, Xiaomi highlighted that the software will take up less storage space on devices, saving up to 7 GB.

The MIUI 14 update is set to be released for 18 Xiaomi devices in the coming months, with the company promising that the models will be updated in the first quarter of 2023. Although the company did not mention a specific date for the release of updates, the expectation is that they will be available by the end of March.

During the presentation, Xiaomi also launched its latest flagship phones, the Xiaomi 13 family. These new phones feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 5G connectivity. It is worth noting that the company has not yet released a list of devices that will receive the MIUI 14 update beyond the initial 18 models. However, it is expected that other Xiaomi devices will also receive the update over the course of the year.
