These Samsung Phones are Now Getting One UI 5.1 Update

Samsung is currently pushing the One UI 5.1 update to more older Samsung smartphones around the globe.  The new OS first launched with the latest flagship series, the Galaxy S23 Series. Samsung only launched the Galaxy S23 series a month ago and Samsung has already started to push the new software to older devices. As always, the software update roll out will go according to the ages of the devices. This means the older your device, the longer you may have to wait in order to get the update (That is if your device will get the update). Samsung One UI 5.1

Samsung has listed 20 models that are set to receive the new software improvements. There are other older models that will receive the One UI 5.1 update later on. But for the start, these are the first 20 inline to receive the new software update. Check out the list of the first 20 devices to receive the One UI 5.1 below.

Features of Samsung One UI 5.1 Samsung One UI 5.1

The new Samsung One UI 5.1 is based on Android 13 and was first introduced in the Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The new software update certainly comes with a couple of useful upgrades and features. However, there are a few highlighted features that are worth mentioning.

The Gallery app now has a more powerful search option and the ability edit GIFs together with photos. In the camera app, Samsung has also added the expert RAW option for the pro photographers.

Samsung’s Bixby also gets a new feature that can handle calls that you don’t want to answer by yourself. The feature is called Bixby Text Call and it lets you view live text from a caller. Other features include the ability to copy and paste images, new Battery Widget and many more.
