The Last of Us Part 1

It seems like the PC port for The Last of Us Part 1 is taking forever, right? Well, the thing is, it is not just a console port for the PC. Instead, Naughty Dog is busy designing the game specifically for PC. That means the game will come with a host of new features.

Nonetheless, after multiple delays, the Last of Us Part 1 will finally release for PC on March 28. And Naughty Dog has just published the minimum, recommended, and other hardware requirements for the game. From what it seems, the game is going to be pretty demanding.

PC-Specific Features of The Last of Us Part 1

Before getting into the recommended spec lists, let’s first explore what Naughty Dog has in store for PC gamers. As you might have guessed, the pc version of The Last of Us part 1 will have 4K resolution support and can run at 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios.

In addition to that, the game is set to offer support for AI upscaling with Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR 2.2. But those are just a few PC-specific features that the game has to offer. The Last of Us Part 1 will also have adjustable Texture Quality, Reflections, Shadows, Ambient Occlusion, and many more.

The Last of Us Part 1 PC version will also have support for a wide range of controllers. That includes Sony DualSense, which will offer “haptic feedback and dynamic triggers” through wired connections. And, of course, you can do “full control remapping” for the keyboard and mouse.

On the PlayStation Blog, Naughty Dog says that the team has been working hard on The Last of US Part 1 PC port. And since the release of the PS5 version, they have been listening to player feedback. For that reason, the PC version will have several bug fixes and improvements throughout the entire game.
