OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite will launch on April 4

OnePlus is gearing up to launch a couple of new devices for its OnePlus Nord series. The mid-range lineup is eagerly waiting for the OnePlus Nord 3, Nord CE 3, and Nord CE 3 Lite. Today, we have a set of new details regarding the Lite variant. According to tipster Max Jambor, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite will be revealed on April 4. We don’t know whether this is also the case for the other variants, but it’s a reasonable guess to expect all three phones to launch on the same date.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite specs are a mystery

Unfortunately, the details of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite specs are under wraps. Unlike the other two variants, this one has been a mystery until now. Perhaps, we will see the details appearing in the next three weeks ahead of the launch. We just know that as a “Lite” smartphone, the specs will be below the OnePlus Nord CE 3 which is a “cost-effective” model in comparison to the main Nord device.

As per the leaks, the OnePlus Nord 3 will come as a rebranded OnePlus Ace 2V. The device will ship with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 CPU. It will also get a 6.72-inch AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The device will stick with the usual camera combo of a 50 MP main, 8 MP ultrawide, and 2 MP depth sensor. The device will draw power from a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The Nord CE 3 will bring similar specs but will stick with a Snapdragon 782G CPU.

OnePlus Nord

While the Nord 3 and CE 3 are similar, we expect the Lite to be totally different. The device may bring a different screen, and a different chipset, but will likely keep the large battery. It can be based on an existing Realme mid-range phone, just like the Nord CE 2 Lite.

Worth noting, that old rumors have been suggesting a July launch for the Nord series. However, we can’t discard a possible change in the plans. It has been a while since the last releases in the Nord series.
