Good News for Gamers: Affordable Nvidia RTX 4060 Might Be on the Horizon!

The Nvidia RTX series is off to a good start. Each of the cards in the series offers great performance over its predecessors. However, the price tag of each of those cards is a little out of reach for many. Well, there’s a piece of good news; Nvidia RTX 4060 may be very close to launching.

Now, in case you didn’t know, the XX60 series of cards from Nvidia are more focused on the budget-friendly market. That is, the upcoming Nvidia RTX 4060 will be more affordable than the other cards of the series. And judging by how good the rest of the cards in the lineup are, this affordable GPU will be a great performer too.

Closer Look at the Affordable Nvidia RTX 4060

The thing about the leak is that it does not confirm whether the card is an Nvidia RTX 4060 or 4060Ti. Now, even though the leaker is not sure of what card it is, we can see that the shroud of the card does not have “Ti.” That makes us believe that the leaked card is indeed a non-Ti.

Nonetheless, if the leaked images are actually of the Nvidia RTX 4060, you can jump to one big conclusion. That is, Nvidia cheaped out on the overall build. The card looks a lot plasticky, especially where the connector is. But the good news is that the fans are very similar to RTX 4090, 4080, 3080, and 3090.

That said, this leak gives us hope that Nvidia will indeed release a cheaper RTX 4000 series card. Hopefully, it will arrive alongside the RTX 4070, which is due on April 13. But if not, AMD has a large window at its hands. With the Nvidia RTX 4060 missing, the affordable Radeon RX series cards could shine in the budget segment of the market.
