Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+: You Will Not Find TWS Buds as Innovative as This

Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+

Thereā€™s no denying that the current True Wireless Stereo (TWS) market is pretty bland. Yes, the level of competition is increasing, but hardly any brand is innovating. Well, that is exactly where the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ steps in. It is the worldā€™s first TWS buds that can measure your heart rate and body temperature.

In other words, Huawei is integrating two products into one: a health monitoring band and a pair of earbuds. However, this is not the first time Huawei combined two different products into one. Just recently, Huawei released the Watch Buds, combining a smartwatch and TWS buds. And with FreeBuds Pro 2+, Huawei is going strong with the same innovative approach.

Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ Brings Heart Rate and Temp Monitoring Features

Huawei has integrated dual-mode heart rate sensors inside the FreeBuds Pro 2+ to make the earbuds gain that ability. The sensor has the support for continuous monitoring with infrared light and green light. Both of them enable the buds to offer a precise heart rate monitoring ability.

The FreeBuds Pro 2+ also comes with the industryā€™s first 3D multi-sensor architecture. It has an intelligent temperature measurement algorithm and can measure 3D temperature with great overall accuracy.

With both the heart rate and temp sensors, the FreeBuds Pro 2+ will let you get health data in real-time. The TWS buds can even offer abnormal heart rate notifications, which will surely come in handy if you are not wearing any smartwatch or fitness bands on your hands.

Premium Sound Quality

Huawei did not just put all the focus on innovating the buds. Instead, the team has put proper emphasis on the sound department of the FreeBuds Pro 2+. And to ensure that the buds do not fail to amaze you with their sound performance, Huawei has partnered with Devialet.

Nonetheless, inside the FreeBuds Pro 2+, you will find dual sound units. Each bud has a four-magnet dynamic driver unit and a micro-panel tweeter. The size of the dynamic unit is 11mm, which is pretty large for a TWS bud. To be exact, compared to the last-gen buds, the driving force of the Pro 2+ is 30 percent higher.

You will not have any complaints regarding the bass performance either. The sound unit can go as low as 14Hz, offering you a deep and powerful bass.

Besides that, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ does not skimp one bit regarding codec support. The buds have support for LDAC and L2HC codecs. With the power of dual high-definition audio decoding, Hi-Res and HWA, the buds can offer you the most immersive music-listening experience.

The FreeBuds Pro 2+ also has support for dual eco-system high-definition audio transmission. That means it will work on Android and Harmony OS, with a transmission speed reaching up to 990 kbps.

Active Noise Cancellation and Audio Modes

When it comes to ANC, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ utilizes a three-mic stereo array. This array can reach a noise reduction depth of up to 47 dB. Thereā€™s also the smart dynamic noise reduction 2.0. It can dynamically switch between balance, depth, and light noise cancellation modes.

Other than that, three audio modes are available for the buds: sound theater, concert hall, and movie theater. With each of them, your music-listening experience will be different. The FreeBuds Pro 2+ also has a six-axis altitude sensor, which can dynamically track your head movements. That enhances the 360-degree sound performance.

Overall, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ has a lot going for it. However, you will not need to spend too much to get this innovative pair of TWS buds. The buds are about to go on sale on April 7 in China. It will debut with a price tag of 1499 yuan, which is just around 219 USD!
