Your favorite instant messaging app keeps getting better each day. WhatsApp is about to get even better with report of a new upcoming feature that will enable you edit texts. With this feature, users can now be able to customize texts to suit their taste.

WhatsApp Text Editor Will Go Beyond Texts WhatsApp Texts

According to a report from WABetainfo.com, the new update will give users a new text editing experience. Beta testers currently have the opportunity to test the text editing feature since WhatsApp has already rolled it out to them. Which means the new feature will soon roll out in future update.

The focus of this feature may be for editing texts, but reports say that it goes beyond just editing of texts. This feature is a whole new editing tool that will allow users edit more files using WhatsApp. User will be able to edit files such as images, GIFs, video files and of course, texts.

The screenshot shows that the beta version is currently for the Android platform. However, a version is currently under development for the iOS platform. Users have the chance to choose different font styles from the list of fonts. They can also be able to edit the fonts to their own styles if they don’t want to use the predefined ones.

The customization options also give users the chance to add texts to videos, images and GIFs. Which means, you can soon be able to customize your own texts and add them to your media files before sharing.

What Else Can You Do With The WhatsApp Text Editor? WhatsApp Text

Apart from editing texts and attaching them to your videos and images, you also have the flexibility of playing around a little more. You can align the texts to the left, right or center.

You can also be able to change the background colors of texts. This may come in handy if a user wants to highlight a particular text or differentiate one text from the other.

The feature already comes with some predefined text for beta texting. More will follow up later in future updates. For now, it comes with fonts such as Calistoga, Courier Prime, Damion, Exo 2, and Morning Breeze.
