As usual, Samsung should hold a second Galaxy Unpacked event this year. Taking the past years into consideration, it will likely take place between late July and early August. The company will take to the stage to disclose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, and Galaxy Watch6. Now, recent rumors suggest that the brand will also disclose new tablets at the event. Among them, we have the alleged Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra which is the new star of a new set of leaked images courtesy of OnLeaks and MySmartPrice.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Key Specs
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will share similarities with its predecessor when it comes to design. The tablet will feature a large 14.6-inch AMOLED screen. It will have Samsung’s Infinity-V notch housing dual front-facing shooters. On the back, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will house a dual-camera setup. The back also houses a wireless charging pad for the S Pen.

In terms of dimensions, the slate will have 326.4 x 208.6 x 5.5mm and weigh slightly more at 737 grams. The device will be quite generous in terms of battery – It will pack a huge 11,200 mAh. However, we couldn’t expect less for a monster with such display size and resolution. The battery should charge relatively fast thanks to 45W charging, which currently stands as Samsung’s max offering in terms of charging.
The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is also rumored to bring an IP68 rating. Under the hood, it will pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy. It should come in variants with 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB of Storage. These may come with 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of Storage. The base model with 128GB storage will get UFS 3.1 storage while the other options will get UFS 4.0 standard. In terms of software, it will likely run on One UI 5.1 with Android 13 as a base.
We expect more details to appear as the next Samsung event approximates. With the launch of appealing hardware, this will probably be one of the most exciting events for Samsung fans. Besides the Ultra, other variants are experienced like a possible Tab S9 FE or Lite.
