After the launch of its Honor 90 series, the brand now prepares the release of a mid-range phone dubbed Honor X50. The new device is set to be released on July 5 and more details have been revealed today. These details provide information about the chipset, battery capacity, and memory options.

Honor X50 More Details Confirmed – A celebration for one decade of Honor X-series products

The popular insider Digital Chat Station leaked an image that comes from Honor’s official promo materials. It confirms the Honor X50 series with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. To those unaware, this is an Octa-Core CPU with a 2.2 GHz clock speed. This chipset is a great evolution if we look at the old Snapdragon 600 series. It features 4 x ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.2 GHz and 4 x ARM Cortex-A55 cores at up to 1.8 GHz. The processor uses the 4nm architecture and brings an Adreno GPU. The chipset is a huge jump over the Snapdragon 695 which has been overly used in mid-range phones in the past two years.

Battery, and Camera Details Spotted

According to Honor itself, the Honor X50 is more than a new device. It will come to celebrate one decade of X-series products. The device will have a big screen with 2.5D curved sizes and a resolution of 2,652 x 1,200 pixels (Full HD+) resolution. The phone will bring a huge 5,800 mAh battery with 66W fast charging. It will also have up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of Internal Storage. These are the highest-ever specs offered by an Honor X-series smartphone. It is also one of the first mid-range phones to sport 16 GB of RAM. So enthusiasts of brute hardware will certainly feel attracted by this handset.

The Honor X50 will have a circular camera island with two modules tuned by AI Matrix camera tech. There will be a primary camera with a 108 MP main camera, and the secondary shooter should be an ultrawide snapper with an 8 MP resolution. There will be a single LED flash at the top to help in darker environments.

The phone will be released in China on July 5. Besides the new phone, Honor has a busy month ahead. It will also reveal the new Honor Magic V2, which promises a revolution among foldable smartphones.
