Don’t hold your breath! The cage fight between Musk and Zuckerberg won’t happen

You’ve probably heard about Musk vs. Zuckerberg fight in the cage. This silly idea initially came from Elon Musk, who is well-known for his trolling capacities. Since he’s taken over Twitter, many bad things happen to the social media network, and many questions have risen.

In one of his episodes, Musk „invited“ Zuckerberg, the main competitor in the social media business, to take a cage fight. Considering Musk’s following army on Twitter, the news spread out instantly. In this wild world, many people would surely like to see these two guys in the cage breaking each other’s spine, spilling blood, etc., but have you really thought it would actually have happened at all?

Today, Elon Musk’s biographer Walter Isaacson said, that this fight simply won’t happen, Business Insider reports. He argues that the invitation was only a metaphor. Knowing Musk’s behavior on social media, the fight was never likely to happen at all.

Musk vs. Zuckerberg fight is a metaphor

Isaacson also says that Elon „is not in hyper training mode“, which means he is actually not in shape to take a chance in such activity. On the other hand, Mark Zuckerberg is younger than Musk, and in quite better shape. His jiu-jitsu skills might not be of crucial importance, because Musk is taller and heavier. Still, many people familiar with this sport, have doubled down on Zuckerberg.

Musk vs. Zuckerberg fight

Nevertheless, it was obvious in the very beginning that the Musk vs. Zuckerberg fight won’t happen anyway. So, it’s meaningless to waste any single bit of server space on this story anymore. Of course, online masses have rejoiced in advance. Hoping that they will watch these two in a cage in their sweat and blood. But they never took into account that Musk might be trolling like he often does on Twitter, and in media in general.

In the end, we now have some kind of confirmation that the cage fight invite was only a metaphor in the zeitgeist, hence, social media turbulences.
