Samsung has just announced the Galaxy Watch6 Series. The lineup consists of the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 and Watch6 Classic. Among the two, the Watch6 Classic brings back the rotating bezel last seen in the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic.

The Watch6 and Watch6 Classic are available in two different sizes. Additionally, LTE-enabled smartwatches are available, thanks to the integrated eSIM module by Samsung.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch6 lineup introduces several improvements compared to the Watch5 series. Among the two models, the regular Watch6 is the most affordable option. It does not feature the rotating bezel, but it does feature a minimalistic design. In addition, as the new wearable has thinner bezels, the display is larger than the predecessor.

However, the Galaxy Watch6 Classic displays are the same as the Watch5 Classic. But as mentioned earlier, both the 47mm and 43mm versions of the Watch6 Classic have rotating bezels.

Other than that, the Galaxy Watch6 and Watch6 Classic feature Super AMOLED screens with full-color AOD (Always On Display). For protection, Samsung has utilized sapphire crystal, letting the wearables easily withstand tough environmental conditions.

You will find a brand-new Exynos W930 chipset in the Galaxy Watch6 family. It’s a dual-core chipset with a clock speed of 1.4GHz, which is 18% higher than the chipset found in the Watch5 lineup. The RAM also saw an upgrade from 1.5 GB to 2 GB. And all the wearables come with 16GB of internal storage, letting you easily store a lot of apps and files.

But the biggest improvement of the Galaxy Watch6 series is the software. The wearables can now offer a more in-depth sleep insight. Also, there’s support for full health tracking, including Heart rate, ECG, blood pressure, and HR alert.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch6 starts at £289 ($373.29 US), and the LTE version costs £369 ($476.62 US). On the other hand, the Watch6 Classis starts at £369 ($476.62 US), while the LTE version is £459 ($592.71 US).
