This new feature allows users to effortlessly share their screen content, be it documents, photos, or anything else they want to showcase. The development process for this feature has been underway for several months. And was made available to beta testers in May. By tapping on the Share icon, users can choose to share a specific app or their entire screen. Interestingly, the way WhatsApp’s screen sharing works bears a striking resemblance to the functionality offered by Zoom and Google Meet.

As is customary with WhatsApp updates, the introduction of screen sharing will occur in phases. Meaning it may take some time before all users have access to it. Rest assured, though, that it will eventually be available to Android and iOS users. As well as those utilizing the Windows desktop client.
