The development process for this feature has been underway for several months. And was made available to beta testers in May. By tapping on the Share icon, users can choose to share a specific app or their entire screen. Interestingly, the way WhatsApp’s screen sharing works bears a striking resemblance to the functionality offered by Zoom and Google Meet.
