Google Chrome browser “release” speed will improve as Web Store gets a new design

Google Chrome Web Store

Google has announced that its browser release speed will significantly improve starting from Chrome 119. The company made this announcement as it confirms the major redesign to its Web Store which is now available in preview mode. According to the company, it will reduce the version release interval of its browser starting from Chrome 119 which will arrive in October. This change is based on the “success” of the first round of shortening the time plan launched in April. The development team’s goal remains to “shorten the time to launch new versions”.

In terms of the redesign of the Web Store, Google said the aim is to make searching for fresh themes and extensions easier. The Google Chrome Web Store is an online marketplace where users can find and download extensions, themes, and apps for their Chrome browser.
