Honor 90 will go on sale in India tomorrow at 12:00 noon

Former Realme India CEO, Madhav Sheth, who joined Honor India not long ago, announced today on X (formerly Twitter) that Honor’s first model to return to India – Honor 90 will officially go on sale at 12:00 noon tomorrow. According to the post on X, the mobile phone will be available on Amazon Mall and Mainline store.

Also, Sheth said the “customer-centric team” has listened to the feedback from users and acted on it. Instead of the usual TWS headset accompanying the mobile phone, the company will now give a direct discount. Madhav Sheth said that the direct coupon or discount could be worth 5,000 rupees ($60).

This time is the official return of Honor mobile phones after three years. The Indian version of Honor 90 was launched by HTech (Honor India) and PSAV Global. PSAV Global has been responsible for the distribution of Honor laptops, smartphones and tablets in the past three years.

The Honor 90 was officially released on September 14th and all the details about the device have been officially revealed. For those who did not follow the launch event, here is a brief of the specs of this mobile phone

The Honor 90 uses a 6.7-inch AMOLED curved display with a resolution of 1200 x 2664 pixels. This device also comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz and supports 3840Hz PWM dimming. The mobile phone uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. It has 8GB / 12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of internal storage.

In the camera department, this mobile phone comes with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 (1/1.4-inch sensor, 0.56µm pixels) shooter. It also uses a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth-of-field camera. On the front, there is a 50MP shooter with a 100-degree field of view lodged in the centre punch hole. The selfie shooter is a wide-angle camera.

The device also has features such as LED flash, HDR, and panorama for the rear camera, and HDR for the front camera. The Honor 90 is capable of recording 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60fps, gyro-EIS videos with both the front and rear cameras. It also comes with a RAM Turbo feature which can give an additional 7GB for the 512GB model and an additional 5G for the 256GB model.

This mobile phone runs Magic OS 7.1 based on  Android 13. Under the hood, there is a 5000 mAh battery that has 66W fast charging to keep its lights on.

Price and Offers

The Honor 90 is priced at Rs. 37,999 ($457) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The device will be available for purchase on Amazon starting tomorrow at 12 noon. Honor has also announced some launch offers for the Honor 90. Customers who purchase the phone using an HDFC Bank credit or debit card will get an instant discount of Rs. 2,000 ($24). Additionally, customers can also avail of no-cost EMI options for up to 12 months.

The Honor 90 Indian version is available in three colours: Star Diamond Silver, Jet Jade Green and Bright Black. The price is:

  • 8GB/256GB priced at 37,999 rupees ($457)
  • 12GB/512GB priced at 39,999 rupees ($481)
