Samsung Exynos 2400 Geekbench Score Revealed: How Does It Compare to the Competition?

At the System LSI Tech Day event on the 5th of this month, Samsung made the Exynos 2400 official. In case you missed our coverage, the Samsung Exynos 2400 has a 10-core CPU configuration with RDNA3 GPU. It will be inside the Samsung Galaxy S24 devices. But like before, the Exynos variant will only be available in certain regions.

At the event, Samsung talked about all the improvements it made to the Exynos 2400. The chipset is fabbed on Samsung’s 4nm fabrication process, which offers a 75% yield rate.

All of these sound great, but Samsung’s announcement has left us wondering how well the Exynos 2400 compares against the current competition. Well, the good news is that the Geekbench 6 score of the chipset is here. And from the performance score, it’s safe to say that Samsung has really done a great job with the chipset.

A Closer Look at the Geekbench Score of the Samsung Exynos 2400

The Samsung Exynos 2400 scored 2067 in single-core and 6520 in multi-core tests of Geekbench 6. To compare, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that powers the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra scores 1973 in the single-core test. And the 8 Gen 2 scores 5148 in the multi-core test.

That means the Exynos 2400 offers about 5% in single-core and 22% in multi-core performance. Also, the scores of the chipset holds up well against the recently unveiled Geekbench score of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

For those who missed it, according to the latest results, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 got 2234 in single-core and 6807 in multi-core tests. So, according to these results, you can say that the performance gap between the Snapdragon and Samsung Exynos flagships is closing in.

Exynos 2400 Geekbench Specs

The Geekbench score of Exynos 2400 also gives information on the clock speed of the cores. As you can see from the picture attached above, the prime core is rated at up to 3.21GHz, while the other cores are clocked from 1.96GHz to 2.90GHz.
