Reports had been talking about a new operating system known as MiOS. And recently, Xiaomi registered trademarks for ‘Xiaomi Pengpai’ and ‘Xiaomi Hyper’. Interestingly, while it’s referred to in English as HyperOS, the Chinese translation labels it as ThePaper OS.

So, in an exciting development, the CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, has confirmed that the upcoming Xiaomi 14 series will be the first to feature this new OS.
