Wireless earbuds have come a long way. But even with all the advancements, manufacturers still use decades-old manufacturing to produce the drivers. Well, the Creative Aurvana Ace series buds are different in this regard. These are the world’s first wireless earbuds with technology from xMEMS.

At the core, the Creative Aurvana Ace utilizes solid-state drivers. These drivers are from a Californian company called xMEMS Labs. Now, while these new drivers may not sound fun at first, they have what it takes to enhance your listening experience.

Before anything else, you need to understand what MEMS is. It abbreviates to Micro-Electro-Mechanical-System. It relies on microfabrication techniques that are more common in the production of semiconductors. But for the Creative Auravan Ace wireless earbuds, it’s playing a role in creating tiny, uniform drivers.

The solid-state drivers that are inside the Creative Aurvana Ace wireless buds use piezos and silicon. These are replacing the coils and magnets found in traditional drivers of wireless earbuds. They are supplemented by 10mm Dynamic Drivers.
