nubia Red Magic 9 Pro was one of the first smartphones to debut with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. For those who missed it, the smartphone made its debut back in November of last year. But so far, it has stayed exclusive to the Chinese market.

International consumers can now purchase the Red Magic 9 Pro directly from nubia’s global website. That is, the gaming smartphone has finally stepped outside its domestic market.

In case you missed our launch coverage, it is nubia’s latest flagship gaming smartphone. As a direct successor of the predecessor, it brings the latest and greatest specs. Under the hood, the smartphone packs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is Qualcomm’s current flagship chipset.

nubia has paired this high-performance SoC with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. This configuration makes the smartphone capable of handling resource-demanding tasks and apps. Like the predecessor, the Red Magic 9 Pro has an active cooling fan on the back. It keeps the temperature in check and makes the smartphone deliver stable performance even during load.

On the front, the gaming smartphone has a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels. It can offer rich details and vibrant colors, which leads to a better viewing experience. Also, thanks to the support of a 120 Hz refresh rate, the panel can deliver fluid and smooth motions.

As for the camera setup, the Red Magic 9 Pro has a capable setup. It comes with a triple-camera configuration on the back. Among them is an OIS-enabled 50 MP primary camera. And on the front, it packs a 16 MP under-display selfie shooter.

Regarding the pricing, the international variant with 12 GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is $646, while the 16 GB and 512 GB variant is going for $799.
