Nubia has just unveiled a new charger under its RedMagic series. The new device is quite interesting if you’re looking for a fancy charger for your compatible 150W charging smartphone. The RedMagic DAO 150W GaN Charger arrives today with a transparent design, RGB lights, and some neat and interesting features. The device measures 110x71x35mm and weighs 870 grams. It features four ports: 1 x USB-A, 2x USB-C, and 1x DC.

The RedMagic DAO 150W GaN charger has a maximum output of 150W. It is provided by a DC port at 20V / 7.5A. The other two USB-C ports can go up to 140W, while the single USB-A port can go up to 30W. With these capabilities, the power brick can simultaneously charge multiple devices. The range of compatibility goes from gaming laptops to smartphones and tablets.
The RedMagic DAO 150W Gan charger supports the PD3.1 protocol, which, combined with the DAO All-GaN chip, allows for “dual-chip control”. This technology ensures faster charging and advanced temperature control. It results in efficient charging that also has security in check. Furthermore, the adapter comes with an advanced copper sheet and gel dual cooling tech. It quickly dissipates the heat and reduces power consumption to enable quick charging.

The Charger’s plug is detachable and foldable. It’s also compatible with interchangeable plugs. So you can buy the charger with US or EU plugs. The new charger costs €199 in Europe, MXN 3,699 in Mexico, and $199 in US, Canada, and other countries. It will be available through RedMagic’s official website. It may look expensive for a charger, but when you take into mind everything it offers, the price is justified. The charging brick will be $20 less from March 1 to March 31.
The retail package comes with 1x AC adapter cable, 1x DC-to-DC charging cable, 1x Type-C to Type-C 6A 150W customized data cable (with PD3.1), and 1x velvet pouch. It’s a neat charger for charging all your gadgets at once.
