 Lenovo has expanded its gaming portfolio with the global release of the Legion Tab, an 8.8-inch Android tablet designed specifically for mobile gamers. Initially launched in China as the Y700 (2023), the Legion Tab brings high-performance hardware and immersive features to a portable form factor.

The centerpiece of the Legion Tab is a stunning 8.8-inch QHD+ Lenovo PureSight gaming display with a 144Hz refresh rate. This translates to smooth, ultra-responsive visuals that are ideal for fast-paced games. Further enhancing immersion, the tablet integrates a haptic feedback system for a more tactile gaming experience.

Under the hood, the Legion Tab boasts a powerhouse Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It’s built on a 4nm manufacturing process for exceptional performance and efficiency. Ample storage is provided with 256GB onboard, expandable via a microSD card slot that supports up to 1TB of additional data.

Despite its robust specifications, the Legion Tab prioritizes portability. The tablet maintains a slim profile at just 7.6mm and weighs a mere 350 grams. Making it comfortable to hold for extended gaming sessions.

Also, thermal management is critical for sustained performance. Lenovo’s Legion ColdFront: Vapor cooling system incorporates three user-selectable modes – Beast Mode, Balanced Mode, and Energy Saving – allowing gamers to fine-tune performance and battery life based on their needs.

The Legion Tab packs a 6550mAh battery for extended gameplay, and supports fast charging via its USB Type-C port with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology, delivering up to 45W of power. The port also offers DisplayPort 1.4 functionality for connecting the tablet to external displays.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E, ensuring a lag-free gaming experience. The Legion Tab seamlessly integrates with other Legion products. Allowing gamers to leverage existing Legion monitors, headsets, keyboards, and mice for a complete desktop-like setup.

Furthermore, the company’s Premium Care Depot service offers comprehensive support, covering setup, connectivity, software, and peripherals, ensuring a smooth user experience.

So, the Lenovo Legion Tab will launch in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) starting March 2024, with a starting price of EUR 599 (approximately USD 654 or Rs. 54,220). This powerful, portable tablet caters to mobile gamers seeking a premium on-the-go gaming experience.
