Vivo X100s Pro Appears on Google Play Console

A few months passed since the launch of the Vivo X100 series in China. Now, Vivo is ready to launch incremental upgrades under the Vivo X100s series moniker. Today, the Vivo X100s Pro smartphone has been spotted in the Google Play Console listing. The certification as usual shares some details about the phone’s specifications.

Vivo X100s Pro – Dimensity 9300 and 2K Display Confirmed

The Vivo X100s Pro was spotted in the Google Play Listing for certified devices with a PD2324 model number. It also confirms the phone with a MediaTek chipset bearing the MT6989 codename. This is the codename for the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC which stands as MediaTek’s highest chipset available. Interestingly, that is the same chipset inside of the regular Vivo X100 Pro. It’s a powerful chipset with a unique arrangement. It has 1 x ARM Cortex-X4 core at 3.25 GHz, 3 x ARM Cortex-X4 cores at 2.85 GHz, and 4 x ARM Cortex-A720 at 2.0 GHz.

The powerful chipset will be paired with up to 16 GB of RAM according to the listing. However, we shouldn’t discard other configurations. Unsurprisingly, it also confirms Android 14 straight out of the box. It means Origin OS 4 for the Chinese market and Funtouch OS 14 once this phone escapes the domestic market.

The smartphone’s display will come with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 and a pixel density of 560 ppi. The render confirms the phone with a curved display on the front and a design that seems to resemble the non-S X100 Pro. However, the tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the phone will come with a flat AMOLED display. It wouldn’t be the first time Google Play Console put the wrong render in a smartphone’s listing.

Besides the excellent performance and display, we expect the Vivo X100s Pro to bring improved camera capabilities. After all, this has been the trademark for the Vivo X100 series. The official details are yet to be revealed but we expect the ZEISS lens to make a comeback here. There will be a triple-camera setup with a circular design. Other design elements will be the same as the regular Vivo X100 Pro.
