Huawei Pura 70 Ultra Launched: It Can Take Clear Images at 300 km/h Speed

Huawei Pura 70 Ultra is the high-end model in the Pura 70 series. The other models include the standard Pura 70, 70 Pro, and Pro Plus, which we covered in our previous article. Now, we will explore the Pura 70 Ultra which has the highest camera capabilities in the entire lineup. Moreover, it also has some other features setting it apart.

The Pura 70 Ultra has a unique design language with a triangle-shaped camera module on the rear side. The phone comes in four color options including Chanson Green, Mocha Brown, Starburst White, and Starburst Black. The phone has dimensions of 162.6 x 75.1 x 8.4mm and weighs around 226 grams. To enhance the comfort and grip, the phone features a weathervane decoration.

There is a 6.8-inch OLED panel that has a resolution of 2844 x 1260 pixels with 460 PPI. It boasts impressive features such as a 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, a 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. Talking about the battery, the phone has a capacity of 5200mAh battery with 100W super fast charging support. It can also be wirelessly charged at 80W and also has 20W reverse wireless support.

If we talk about the major difference compared to the other models in the Pura 70 family, the Ultra gets some exclusive camera features. There is a 50MP 1-inch primary sensor, a 40MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP macro telephoto shooter.

The highlight is that it has a retractable main camera that seamlessly extends and retracts. With this system, Huawei has made the camera system quite capable. For example, the Pura 70 Ultra can take crisp photos even in high-speed scenarios (up to 300 km/h). Its durability is proven – the company guarantees it can withstand at least 300,000 cycles. Moreover, the main camera's versatile aperture (f/1.6 to f/4.0) and sensor-shift stabilization ensure professional-grade results.

Pura 70 Ultra is capable of 3.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. For stable shots, the company has implemented an AIS anti-shake feature. Moving on to the front side, the phone gets a 13MP shooter.

Out of the box, the phone comes with the latest HarmonyOS 4.2 operating system. The OS has advanced AI features such as AI gestures, AI photo retouching, and more. Other notable features of the phone include satellite connectivity, Lingxi Wireless antenna network, 8 Spatial-stream Sounding MU-MIMO, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
