Apple Will Discontinue the Production of These Products!

Apple, having recently introduced its iPhone 16 series, is gearing up for another major event this month. This upcoming event will focus on updates to its iPad and Mac product lines. Speculation already circulates about which current Apple products may face discontinuation after the event. So, what can we expect?

What Apple Products Might Be Discontinued?

The event will primarily focus on the latest iterations of Mac and iPad models. Apple is expected to unveil new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros featuring the next-generation M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max processors. With the release of these powerful new devices, the current MacBook Pros equipped with M3 chips may face discontinuation. However, Apple has not confirmed this yet.

As for the Mac Mini, Apple updated this model earlier in 2023 with the M2 and M2 Pro processors. But with the upcoming event, industry insiders predict the introduction of Mac Mini models powered by M4 and M4 Pro chips. If this happens, the M2 Mac Mini models will likely be discontinued to make room for the new versions.

Apple also plans to refresh the iMac, introducing new models that will feature M4 processors to replace the current M3-powered iMacs. This shift aligns with Apple’s pattern of regularly updating its desktop lineup to showcase the latest in-house silicon chips.

In addition to Macs, the iPad lineup is also due for an update. Apple is reportedly preparing to launch a new iPad mini, powered by the A18 chip, which may even come with Apple’s new AI capabilities. This development could spell the end of the iPad mini 6, as they will replace it by the latest version.

Apple also anticipates introducing the iPad 11, which will appear during the event. If Apple releases this model, it could signal the discontinuation of the iPad 10, which came out in 2022.
