The Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 have been making the rounds online since quite a long time. The J series is the mid range offering from Samsung. Although not listed on their official website, Samsung has unveiled the two models.
Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017)
The Galaxy J5 boasts a 5.2 inch720 Super AMOLED display. The Galaxy J5 is powered by the Exynos 7870 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. The phone is fueled by a 3000mAh battery. The rear houses the 13MP f/1.9 camera with LED flash whereas the front has a 5MP selfie shooter. The fingerprint sensor on the front bottom bezel doubles up as the home button.
Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017)
The Galaxy J7 does not differ much except for a bigger 5.5 inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, beefed up 3GB of RAM, and a 13MP selfie shooter with flash. Also, the battery is a bit larger at 3,600mAh.
The J5 is slated for launch at the end of the month, priced at €289 whereas the J7 will launch in July for €340. Both the phones are an addition to the J series family which featured the Galaxy J3. Both the phones adopt an all metal body construction which makes them look pretty decent for mid rangers.
