The new variant will go on sale starting April 10 for Rs 10,999 on Amazon.in and Realme’s website. Up till now, the handset had two variants – 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB and the new variant will give options to buyers who want more storage but not much RAM.

The Realme U1 was announced back in November and comes with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) LCD display and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 SoC clocked up to 2.1GHz. In the imaging department, the Realme U1 has a 13MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor while the front holds a 25MP selfie shooter. The handset will be receiving Android Pie with ColorOS 6.0 in June. The entry-level handset recently got a price cut and now has an asking price of Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 11,999 for the two old variants respectively.
