Update: Facebook is off for a day
As promised we have turned off the Facebook option so that none Facebook users can enter the giveaway. This will be kept off for one day. Facebook fans can still enter and we hope you can share the news. Also, Woobox embeded is playing up so you can use the link below to enter directly:
We have heard reports of OnePlus One saying that this is not a genuine contest. I don’t know why they would say this and ensure you that this is real and the winner will WIN a 16GB OnePlus One. Also, (stragely) thanks to OnePlus for the recent invite which we gave away to GizChina fan Dimitri Houbie, last nigh on a last minute Facebook giveaway.
Also, the giveaway is open until Friday 20th, not Monday as that isn’t the 20th :p

As promised last week we are giving away a 16GB OnePlus One! This is the smartphone the whole world is talking about and we are giving one away completely free!
Up for grabs is the 16GB OnePlus One with baby skin white rear. The OnePlus One boasts a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 3GB RAM, Snapdragon 801 processor, 13 megapixel Sony sensor and LTE!

Please keep in mind that this version of the OnePlus One is the Chinese model. It has been flashed and runs CyanogenMod 11S and has all Google services and the Google Play Store, however 3G and 4G LTE will not be fully compatible for users in North America. European and Asian readers should be able to use the OPO on 3G and LTE without issue, if you are not sure please read this post:
How to enter?
Entering couldn’t be easier. Simply follow the link use the form below and fill in your details. The only required fields are your email and your name. The rest of the options are up to you. Feel free to share and promote the giveaway as much or as little as you like, but remember the more more you share the more entries you will be awarded and the more chance of winning.

What if I don’t have Facebook?
You will see that the giveaway currently requires you to Like the GizChina Facebook page, if you do not use Facebook don’t worry, we will be switching this feature off for certain periods throughout the giveaway to give everyone a chance. We will post on GizChina and via our social media to inform you when the Facebook requirement is turned off and how long for. If you miss it the first time don’t worry as we plan to do this a few times.
How long is the giveaway open for?
The giveaway is live now until 12:00 (Pacific Time) on 18th July 2014. We will then choose the winner at random and announce on Friday 20th July.
What happens if I win?
The first thing that will happen is we will email you. Then we will update this post with your name, and then post an additional post on GizChina.com, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ etc to inform everyone.
The OnePlus One will be shipped to you by express delivery at no charge, however you may be required to pay tax, customs or import duty. This will depend on your country and cannot be controlled by us.

i think something is wrong with this woobox system, i still got 1 entry after link sharing (at least 2 people entered the contest by clicking my shared link) punchtab was way better…and as i see people still have problems with Facebook….i don’t understand why is so difficult…you don’t have Facebook count …create one(even though is just for this contest)….

hi, as you share you will be given automatic additional entries. You don’t get another entry and have to go through the whole process of entering again, you just automatically get them.
