Koushik Dutta aka "Koush", a part of the
CyanogenMod team and the creator of various 3rd party tools and
hacks like the ClockWork Mod recovery and
ROM Manager, recently showcased his progress with AirPlay mirroring on Android.
The dev managed to mirror an
HTC One's display to a Nexus 10 tablet, of which he also shared a video. Of course, the
HTC One was running on
CyanogenMod.
AirPlay mirroring server on an Android. Incoming Apple lawsuit.
This is interesting, cause you could potentially install this airplay server onto a Android PC stick and hook it up to your TV.
This is what the witty dev had to say on this development, in a
Google+ update he shared. You can also check out the video below:
We hope to see this kick off, because as Koush said, it would be real cool to have an Android
PC stick hooked up to your
TV on which you would be able to see your phone's screen in a much larger scale!
