Archos Gamepad 2 announced, quad-core and games included

Archos’ second generation Gamepad 2 has officially been announced and will go on sale at the end of the month. Continue reading for full specifications.

As the name suggests, the Archos Gamepad 2 is the second generation gaming tablet form the French manufacturer. The new and improved models gets a 7-inch display with updated 1280 x 800 resolution, there is also a 1.6Ghz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM on board. Options for 16-32GB memory will be available (some of that space will be taken up by the bundled games) and there is space for a 64GB SD card if needed.

The Archos GamePad 2 will go on sale towards the end of this month for €179.99 and will include games from Gameloft Asphalt 8, Airborne and Modern Combat 4 and Zero Hour.
