All of a sudden, Apple revealed it is holding a special event on March 4. The brand
invites us to a special "Apple Experience," and it will be available across New York, London, and Shanghai, scheduled to start at 9 AM ET/2 PM GMT/10 PM CST. Unfortunately, we don't know if there will be any kind of special live stream for this event. We can't discard a simple press release with new product launches, among them, one strong candidate is the iPhone 17e.
iPhone 17e, New MacBook Models, and iPads
Apple is, in fact, rumored to launch a bunch of new products during this event. However, the
iPhone 17e is the most rumored one, after the stocks for the iPhone 16e started to fade across the world. This served as a good signal that Apple was preparing the terrain for the next device. The successor to last year's affordable iPhone will come with an upgraded Apple A19 chip, offering a performance bump and many improvements. The phone will also include a 6.1-inch screen with Dynamic Island and the same 18MP shooter seen in the regular iPhone 17 series.
The iPhone 17e is also rumored to introduce Apple's latest C1X modem and MagSafe Support. Unfortunately, there will be only a single 48 MP rear camera. This device is expected to cost $599 at launch.
Affordable MacBook, MacBook Pro Series and More
Besides the new affordable iPhone, we expect Apple to update its
MacBook family. A New entry-level
MacBook might be in the pipeline with the Apple A18 Pro chipset. We expect an aluminum chassis and a sub-$1000 price. Apple is adding some extra color tones for this variant.
The brand is also expected to bring new
Apple M5 MacBook Air, as well as M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pros. We may also see new Mac Displays, updated iPad Air models with the M4 chip, and a new base iPad with the Apple A18 chip.
Obviously, don't hold your breath to see all these products. Some might appear, but some of these rumors may not come to fruition. Among them, obviously, the strongest bet is in the iPhone 17e release.
