Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra: Global Launch Date and Prices Leak

The wait is almost over for global Xiaomi fans who want to meet and experience the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphones. Today, a new report reveals the launch date and reaffirms the prices for both smartphones in Europe.

Some leaks have been pointing to the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra to cost the same as their predecessors in Europe. Now, a new, fresh leak from France confirms this information. That said, the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra prices for Europe are the ones below:

The Xiaomi 17 will sell in Black, Venture Green, Ice Blue, and Alpine Pink color options. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra will sell in Black, White, and Starlit Green. Both options will have 12GB of RAM. The Ultra variant will sell in Black, White, and Starlit Green.

Thanks to the same source, we also know the launch date. According to it, the new global flagships will launch on February 28th. Being February 2026's last breath for all Xiaomi fans. As far as the specs are concerned, both will be nearly identical to their Chinese counterparts.

Unfortunately, the battery capacity will be slashed in both models. The global variant will have 6,330mAh versus the 7000mAh in the Chinese model. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra will have a smaller 6,000mAh battery. 800mAh less than its Chinese sibling.

According to the rumors, neither the Xiaomi 17 Pro nor the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max will get a global release at this time. No dual-screen love for global markets, at least at this time.
