A couple of weeks ago, Americian manufacturing giant, Apple, released the latest iPhone 11 series. Well, these smartphones had a fair share of criticism ranging from lack of innovation to lack of some basic features. However, it appears that Apple did something right, price adjustment. Although there is no such thing as "cheap" with iPhones, the "cheapest" Apple iPhone 11 is cheaper than its 2018 counterpart (iPhone XR).
The iPhone 11 series is hot worldwide, the most popular of the three models is the iPhone 11. This is the most affordable model. This device is quite hot because of its lower price. The iPhone 11 starts at $699 in the US, which is lower than the $749 starting price for iPhone XR. The iPhone 11 sales in China and the US have been massive. In India, most third-party Apple retailers have received record orders after the launch of India's pre-purchase program. As of now, India's two largest sellers, Amazon India, and Flipkart have sold out all its iPhone 11.
According to Tarrun Pathak, deputy director of mobile devices and ecosystems at Counterpoint Research, lower equipment prices are the reason for this huge difference. “It seems that the pricing strategy of the iPhone 11 is very suitable for consumers. In addition, the best price offered by the financial/retail partners makes it the best choice for users who want to upgrade.”
At present, Apple's official website in China shows that the first batch of the iPhone 11 series has been sold out, and it's delivery time is increasing. For example, it will take 3 - 4 weeks for some colour options to be delivered.
