A rumor about an upcoming "iPhone Neo" has been spreading a lot, but an
iPhone Neo might not even exist. No credible leaker, supply chain source, or Apple insider has used that name. It might have just started as an idea from an online blogger becouse there is nothing supporting this name.
Apple's Real Plan's for Spring
The Spring launch still stands, and we have more info about it. Unlike about the iPhone Neo the leaks come from a real, reliable Tipster: Fixed Focus Digita. Its someone that i personaly trust with these apple leaks. Their reports have even been used by outlets like MacRumors and TechRadar. He says Apple is preparing three new iPhone models for spring 2027. These are the
iPhone 18, the
iPhone Air 2, and the iPhone 18e. So no iPhone Neo, most likely just a fake rumor or a misunderstanding.
This spring lineup this time, is much different from Apple's usual pattern. In past years, the numbered iPhone launched in the fall alongside the Pro models. This time, the base
iPhone 18 is expected to arrive later, in early 2027, while the
iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are still expected to launch in September 2026 as usual.
Each Model That Should Launch
The iPhone 18 should remain the standard model in Apple's lineup. So far, there are no reports of a major change to its design. Well, no reports that i have seen that is (: . The Pro models are also expected to keep a similar look.
The
iPhone Air 2 will follow the first iPhone Air. Apple is expected to keep the focus on a thin and light design. Earlier reports said the phone could be delayed. Newer rumors now suggest it could arrive sooner, possibly around the same fall window as the Pro models.
The iPhone 18e is expected to replace the iPhone 17e as Apple's cheaper option. It would continue the company's newer "e" series, which offers a lower price than the main iPhone models. A good alternative in my opinion, since not everyone can afford an iPhone.
Be careful with the iPhone Neo name
There is a good reason to be careful with the rumored iPhone Neo. Like i said, the name has not appeared in reports from major Apple leakers or other sources that often reveal new products early.
It also has not shown up in known supply chain reports, carrier documents or regulatory filings. That does not prove the phone does not exist. But, there is little to basicaly no solid evidence behind the name.
Apple rumors often come with made-up product names. Some spread online for weeks before anyone can find a real source. Others disappear just as quickly. For now the iPhone Neo is just a romur in my eyes.
