One very interesting point to consider, but very often overlooked is the ability to use
applications full
screen.
Unlike the iPad,
Android tablets don’t have a ‘pixel doubling’ function to expand (by doubling the number of pixels) the
application’s
visuals to take full advantage of the larger
tablet screen.
Luckily however some foresighted
developers have already gone to great lengths to allow their
games to run full screen, but how do you know which already have this feature and which don’t?
AndroidOS Tablets will help you that’s how!
We are currently in the process of testing a wide variety of
applications, ranging from
games to productivity tools, to see which take advantage of the larger 7-8 and 10
inch screens found on
Android tablets.
Once thoroughly tested and we’re happy that an
application works well on a larger
screen we’ll add
details of it to our
downloads section making it easy for you to know which will work correctly on your
new Android
tablet.
