Leaked: Purported official image of the Huawei Ascend P7 “Sophia”

Posted on Weibo today, this could possibly be the first official image of the Huawei Ascend P7 “Sophia”.

If you happen to be attending MWC next week then the above image could help you to track down the Huawei Ascend P7 “Sophia”. The purported official image looks much like we expected it would and similar to the previous P6.

Externally the P7 will be available in 4 colours, black, silver, gold and pink, have a dual LED flash, 13 mega-pixel main camera and 8 mega-pixel front. There also seem to be pins in the rear panel which could be used for docking or charging the handset.

Leaked hardware details of the phone include a 5-inch 1080p display, a Hisilicon processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB memory, 3000mAh battery and Android 4.3 covered with Huawei's own Emotion UI. There are even reports of 4G LTE network connectivity. As mentioned above, MWC is where the phone will be launched, but April will be when we can expect to see it on sale.
