The iQOO 15 launched in China in October and reached more markets about a month later. Now, new leaks suggest that vivo’s sub-brand is preparing a more powerful model called the iQOO 15 Ultra. This device will pack impressive upgrades and a focus on performance and gaming.

iQOO 15 Ultra - A Powerhouse For Gaming

The information comes from Digital Chat Station, a well-known leaker on Weibo. The iQOO 15 Ultra was first mentioned back in October, but new details now give us a clearer picture of what this phone will offer.
According to the leak, the iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to launch before February 17. This model will be built with gaming as its main focus. To support this, the phone will include physical shoulder buttons, which are useful for shooters and action games. But there is another impressive detail: An Active Cooling Fan, a Big One.

Active Cooling Fan To Keep Thermals in Check

One of the biggest highlights of the iQOO 15 Ultra is its active cooling system. The device will feature a built-in cooling fan, and not just any fan. The leak claims it will be the largest cooling fan ever used in a smartphone. The goal is to deliver class-leading thermal performance. This should help the phone maintain high performance for longer gaming sessions.
iQOO is reportedly confident enough to claim that this cooling system allows the iQOO 15 Ultra to perform close to next-generation chipsets. Yes, you've read it correctly. The company means it might perform close to the unreleased Dimensity 9600 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6. This is just a bold way to say that this chip will be able to sustain performance for a long time. This is something that should be achieved natively by the new chips, which possibly bring new efficient manufacturing processes.

On the display side, the iQOO 15 Ultra will use the same high-end Samsung panel found on the regular iQOO 15. This panel is also rumored to appear in the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Users can expect a large, sharp screen with smooth motion and extreme brightness.
Under the hood, the device will carry Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, placing the iQOO 15 Ultra firmly in flagship territory. It will be capable of handling any task or game for Android. In fact, it should be a powerhouse for emulation and even PC Games Emulation. The cooling will make sure the CPU will hold these games without degrading performance and its own hardware.
