Hisense to launch 5-inch MT6589 phone March 25 priced at $160

Hisense might be the brand you look to when buying a cheap TV, washing machine or refrigerator, but they hardly spring to mind when looking at phones! Hisense know this too, but are quickly making themselves known thanks to low-cost phone such as this new 5-inch model.

Full details haven't been made public, which is strange as we know the price sill be $160 (999 Yuan), will be available through 360Mall, and will launch March 25! Still, we have confirmed the new, unnamed phone, will have a 5-inch OGS display, 1.2GHz quad-core MT6589 processor, 1GB RAM, 8 mega-pixel camera, 2000mAh battery, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and will measure just 9.8mm thick!

Could be one to keep an eye on!
