Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 image leaks hours before the unveiling

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is slated for unveiling today along with the Mi Note 3, confirmed by Xiaomi's Lin Bin last week. Just a day ago, Hugo Barra teased the community with images of the package of the Mi Mix 2. In the latest report, the Mi Mix 2 seems to have leaked in images hours before the official launch. The post on Weibo shows the front of the Mi Mix 2.

The Mi Mix brought along a bezel less display, and the leaked images show a display with much thinner bezels. The pictures that Hugo Barra shared shed some light on the specifications of the Mi Mix 2. The smartphone will be available in a 6GB/256GB variant among others. It'll have a ceramic coating too, meaning Xiaomi has chosen to drop the use of metal. It is rumoured that the Mix 2 will sport a 6.4 inch display, like its predecessor but a recent report hints towards a 6.2 inch display. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is expected to power the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. A 4500mAh battery coupled with a display that has a 93% screen to body ratio seems like a tempting offer.

Another leak reveals a lot about the Mi Note 3. The leak throws light on the specs of the phone. It reveals that the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 660 and has a variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM configuration.
