After the shock
news that
Lenovo have bought
Motorola from
Google,
new rumours suggest that it could be Lenovo, not
LG, who will produce the Nexus 6!
Lenovo managed to bag themselves a bargain when they bought
Motorola from Google this week, but they might have also bought themselves their way in to the Nexus family and are now rumoured to be the manufacturers of the next Nexus
device, and ultimately the last Nexus to ship if other
rumours are accurate.
Russian mobile blogger Eldar Murtazin is the source of these rumours, and should be given some credibility as his previous predictions have already come true. Eldar goes on to say that the Lenovo Nexus device will be manufactured at a huge volume and will be primarily focussed on the U.S market.
For
Lenovo to produce a Nexus device, be it the Nexus 6 or a Nexus tablet, would be a huge boost for a brand who have struggled to make traction with core
Android fans despite some quite interesting products over the past 12 months.
