Sharp has introduced new smartphones with 240Hz screen and Android 11

Today, the Japanese company Sharp unveiled several smartphone models at once, including the Sharp Aquos Zero 5G Basic and Sharp Aquos Sense 5G.

The Aquos Zero 5G Basic smartphone complies with the IP68 degree of protection, has dimensions of 161 x 75 x 9 mm and weighs 182 grams. It features a 6.4-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The teardrop notch display supports a 240Hz refresh rate and has an integrated fingerprint reader.

The heart of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 765G SoC with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory, as well as an 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory variant.

The front camera has a resolution of 16.3 megapixels. The main camera has a main sensor with a resolution of 48 megapixels, a wide-angle camera with a resolution of 13.1 megapixels, and a telephoto lens of 8MP resolution. The battery capacity is 4050 mAh. It has Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC and a USB-C connector. The smartphone runs Android 11 out of the box.

Sharp Aquos Sense 5G measures 148 x 71 x 8.9 mm and weighs 176 grams. It is equipped with a 5.8-inch IGZO LCD teardrop notch. The resolution is 1080 x 2280 pixels. Aquos Sense 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 690 5G SoC. The device has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal flash memory.

The smartphone received an 8-megapixel front camera, as well as a triple main camera with image sensors with a resolution of 12, 12 and 8 megapixels. The battery has a capacity of 4570 mAh. It also received an under-screen fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, USB-C and IP68 protection. Out of the box, the smartphone runs Android 11.
