nubia has officially expanded its foldable lineup with the launch of the nubia Flip3 (that came along nubia fold). This device is the brand's newest clamshell-style foldable, focusing on durability, a sizable exterior screen, and key AI features, all powered by MediaTek.
Design and Display: High Refresh Rate Meets Big Cover Screen
The nubia Flip3 features a main 6.9-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,790 x 1,188 and a fluid 120 Hz refresh rate.4 When closed, the phone reveals a substantial 4.0-inch outer sub-display (OLED, 1,200 x 1,092). This large external screen should make handling notifications, widgets, and quick tasks much easier without needing to open the device.
Built for longevity, the Flip3 weighs approximately 187 grams and uses a high-strength aluminum frame.5 It boasts a third-generation high-strength hinge designed to withstand 300,000 open–close cycles.6 For protection against the elements, it includes IPX4 water resistance and IP5X dust protection.
