OnePlus N6x Officially Launches in India With 7,000mAh Battery and Dimensity 6360 Apex

Budget phones are a tricky game. Too much compromise and nobody cares. Too little differentiation and you're just noise in a crowded market. The OnePlus N6x, which just went official in India, is betting heavily on one thing — battery life — to carry the whole conversation.

The N6x packs a 7,000mAh battery, with OnePlus claiming up to 20.56 hours of continuous video streaming on a single charge. That's genuinely impressive for the price. But here's the catch — charging it back up tops out at just 15W wired, with 5W reverse wired charging also on board. So yeah, the tank is massive. Refilling it, though? Grab a book.

The phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. OnePlus does let you virtually expand RAM to 8GB via software — which, to be honest, isn't quite the same as real RAM, but it's something. A microSD card slot covers storage expansion, and connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C.

The screen is a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 900 nits peak brightness. The 120Hz is a nice touch at this tier. The HD+ resolution, though — that's a trade-off. Don't expect pixel-perfect text or razor-sharp video. You get smooth scrolling; you give up crispness.

Camera duties fall to a 13MP primary shooter on the rear and a 5MP front camera for selfies. I suppose that's fine for social media snaps, but photography enthusiasts should probably look elsewhere. On the durability side, the N6x carries an IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification — which is a solid commitment for a budget device. Thermal management gets a 5,300mm² vapor chamber as part of a larger 13,280mm² cooling system.

It ships with Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 out of the box. Two color options — Burgundy Red and Ice Blue — give buyers at least some personality in their pick.

The 4GB/64GB variant is priced at ₹18,999 and the 4GB/128GB model at ₹20,999, with sales opening August 4 via Amazon and the OnePlus India store. Launch offers include an instant ₹1,500 bank discount and up to six months of no-cost EMI.
