OnePlus Turbo Lineup Confirmed by OnePlus President

OnePlus lineup called Turbo emerged in October, and now we have the confirmation. The President of OnePlus China, Li Jie, took to Weibo to announce the new OnePlus Turbo range. The new lineup celebrates 12 years of OnePlus' existence. As per the announcement, the Turbo devices will "inherit the powerful performance genes" of OnePlus flagships. They will still comprise the strongest battery life in their class, providing "an unprecedented gaming experience".
The exec also revealed that in China, OnePlus will end 2025 with the biggest sales growth of any smartphone brand, at 40% over 2024. In the next year, with the Turbo lineup, OnePlus aims to improve gaming and deliver the ultimate gaming experience to more people.

According to the leaks so far, the first OnePlus Turbo will be quite the smartphone for hardware enthusiasts and gamers. It will boast a 6.7-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. It will carry the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, the same chip inside the 15R. It will come with a massive 8,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. The focus is on gaming, so we have modest photography specs with a main 50 MP camera and an 8 MP ultrawide.
